Due to the current lack of a search tool in Pantheon and/or Files, I installed Synapse on my system. When I launched it... it just felt so right! (see screenshot). Could it be included in Luna? Would it be a good idea to implement such an app in elementary? Or maybe slingshot might become something similar in the future...
edit: I've just found out Synapse is written in Vala, perfect!

We're not going to implement a sigle location for searching for all kinds of stuff. Every app will have a search function inside it instead. --shnatsel
