We need to prioritize the app suites, e.g. PIM suite (Postler, Dexter, Maya) might have higher priority than Pantheon Shell because the shell depends on lots of Ayatana stuff which is not available in most distros; etc

Then we need to organize an IRC channel for hackfests and get some devs in there, maybe write some docs, enumerate application dependencies (with minimal versions) in a clean and easy way, write which build system does each app use, etc

Then just announce the hackfest and be friendly and helpful :)
