Use a smartphone as a media remote

A feature that would allow users to control multimedia while on the same wifi network as the computer, or over Bluetooth. This feature is most clearly described by comparing it to the "Apple remote", or in the Linux world, to a better version of KDE Connect. Possible "buttons" to include would be media controls (pause/play, skip and reverse skip), volume controls, and if we want to be extremely fancy, mouse/keyboard via phone.
