Media icons in pantheon

A pantheon doesn't have anything to access from the desktop to the media, or at least the mounted one, (SD ,USB ). I think the best place for this it's Plank. I think the media icons should be at the right from the applications. When you click the media icon it should open the default application, with right click it would open a menu with all the applications with you can open the media. Also the media icons should be separeted from the applications icons.
