Elementary OS could have by default a file previewer posible options are sushi ( nuatilus/gnome 3 file previewer) and gloobus preview ( I think it has more features).

If I could choose, I would probably choose Gloobus (sushi looks ugly without Adwaita, and Adwaita is ugly anyway) -mamemame187

Gloobus Preview was ported to GTK3. We could use it. ~shnatsel

It was decided in http://tiny.cc/contributor-meeting-12 that previewers in their current shape are merely a workaround for big application startup time and are not useful in our case. Declining blueprint. ~shnatsel
