Include a font that supports emoji unicode characters

Include a font that supports emoji unicode characters, perhaps Symbola. Emoji is supported in OS X, Windows 8, iOS and Android Jellybean. To add support in Linux it's as simple as adding the font, although it will only be in black and white. I don't know what would need to be done to do it in colour like in OS X and iOS, apparently they use an extension to TTF as TTF doesn't support colour or images, but I think OTF fonts do.
