Provide a set of standard design values
We have a great set of Human Interface Guidelines in the making, but we don't really have a solid list of official values to be used in elementary. Values such as "elementary Blue," "Light Source Direction," "Text Shadows," "Icon size," "Transparency," "Animations," etc. These would be fairly standard and often-used values that should be repeated throughout our platform for the best consistency.
First we need to brainstorm a list of required values, then we need to decide on the values themselves. In cases where there's already a trend in elementary design, we should obviously stick to the established value.
Once we have this, I'll add it to the HIG.
