Mission control and widgets in elementary OS

Registered by rka1987

I saw slingshot it looks pretty cool. I saw gnome 3 desktops and new OSX lion if we compare one important thing is missing in e os. Its mission control function of OSX lion which is also in gnome 3 when we click activities. But I dont like the way gnome did when we click activities we can either view activities running or apps. so simply one more click needed. I suggest that the desktop should come up with the old style ubuntu desktop where 3 menus comes application, places and system. But the difference is that we should have it apps, Board and control where apps launch slingshot and control launches mission control of elementary OS and board launches widgets here board is similar to dashboard displaying widgets but it should have 2 screen options first one my board which will show widgets or elements launched by me second screen will show all widgets or elements i installed or pre-installed whith system. Any widget or element can be launched on my board by clicking on them which we should rather call elements here board simply means notice board where widgets can be pinned. The reason i called them elements because they will be part of elementary notice board which i mention above and work similar to those notice boards which we use in our offices in front of our desk. And one more thing it sounds better than widgets or gadgets or screenlets which different desktop uses.

Maybe because i'm not a native english speaker, but i cannot understand what you've written, would you like to explain better? Otherwise, +1 to adding some functionality && customizability to wingpanel. ~sal-merone
