eGTK could use a final touch

I really like the elementary GTK theme. It's far more polished and thought-through than your average linux theme. However, the grey linear gradient seems a bit dull at times and I think the theme deserves an extra touch, just to make it that tiny bit better. Windows, for example has a blurred, slightly transparent theme.
I'm far from a professional designer but this is what I've come up with. Do feel free to provide your own concepts.
