For anyone else hitting this, a workaround I did was to move ~/.launchpadlib to somewhere outside of $HOME, then symlink from there to ~/.launchpadlib. Ugly, but it works until I can figure out how to ecryptfs_enable_filename_crypto=n while use pam_ecryptfs.so.
