These apps have been selected with the following criteria.
- Frequency of use: What are the most commonly-used apps of our target audience?
- Uniqueness: Evolution would present a unique case (for it's complex windows), but something like Mousepad would not (as it's windows are simple menubars and editboxes). Let's work on squashing the unique cases.
- Preinstallation: Prioritize those that are installed out of the box. This is not necessarily to say that those that are only available in repositories are to be ignored.
