Convert from bzr to git

We need to get on the git bandwagon. I propose we do that starting with the 0.9-series and host at Gitlab, not Github. Launchpad git does not support pull requests, so that will keep us from staying here. Github is owned by Microsoft now, so is unacceptable as an open source host IMNSHO, so Gitlab is the remaining choice.
