Embedded InnoDB: UTF-8

Make sure that everything is being handled as UTF-8 in Embedded InnoDB Engine.
Currently (innodb 1.0.6) - Embedded InnoDB deals with everything as latin1... which is not completely correct.
we will need support from the embedded innodb library to either:
- set charset and collation
- provide our own comparison functions
