Remove logging output to tables

* Remove the log_output variable
* Logging to tables is too inefficient to use in its current implementation - remove it.

I will go ahead and remove the table logging option defined as LOG_TABLE in log.h and its related references, but Mark is doing the job of refactoring the logging system in a separate blueprint/branch
