interactive Stacks/Drawers with Folder-Content

Registered by Jan Schürmann

very nice would be Stacks/Drawers pointing to a specified Folder, i.e. Downloads which interactively show the newest files or all files just like you configure it. i.e. show the 10 newest files in Download Folder and a link to that folder...

I have implemented a Folder View drawer that will display contents of a specific folder. Adding items copies them to the drawer. Open drawers are notified of folder changes so the view dynamically updates. Deleting items from drawers DELETES THEM FROM DISK (no undo, may make it move to Trash instead)!

Sort by Modification Time added.

Quicklist maintains 10 most recent files (unless a file is pinned to quicklist). In addition, I've added a Keep Below Others Pin that will ignore the Show Desktop commands and keep itself from being registered on the Launcher bar. That feature combined with a new feature to "remember" the drawer state, should allow one to add the program to Startup Applications and maintain the Drawer open on the desktop like a KDE FolderView Plasma Widget.
