Show "running" indicator on applications with no visible window

Registered by mojo2012

I often use Banshee or Wuala. Both apps can run in a "windowless" mode. They reside in the gnome system panel though.
But as there is no open window, there is no "launched" indicator, like the border around the app icon. It would be cool, if dockbarx would not only depend on visible windows, but on the running main process of the programs.

Imho this would be the basis for this feature too: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/dockbar/+spec/inherit+tray+icons.

The problem is exactly the same as for the other blueprint, I don't know any good way to do it. :( For now I just recommend not adding launchers for those programs and use their tray icon instead of the group button as much as possible. Lousy advice, I know. /Matias
