permanently lock documents

The lock feature currently doesn't do anything that I can figure out. When I locked a document in the menu above an application, I expected it to be available in that menu until it was unlocked, even if I closed that document or the entire app. This would make dockbar much more useful for me.

You don't have documents in the list, you have windows. You can't make dockbarx "remember" closed windows.
What the lock is supposed to do is stopping windows from being unminimized when clicking the group button. The lock should be seen like a kind of hard minimization. The feature should perhaps be removed since I don't know if anyone actually uses it. It has been there since the very first release of dockbar, I believe.
