group button opacify effect

it would be nice to have opacify effect also by hovering on group buttons and not only in pop up windows, like hovering over the folders icon shows all open folders and i like to check the progress of an app with this effect but its annoying to first hover the group button and than on the filename when only one window of this app is open.
