sometimes I have a long url and want to quickly open it, but gnome-do doesn't allow to paste text.

There's a better way -- highlight the url you want to open and type Open URL in Do. It should put the Selected Text item in the second pane.

It works, however, "paste" sometimes is useful. -- Livio

I agree that full clipboard support would be great. Another example: enter 6 miles in km and run gcalculate. The result should be copyable to the clipboard (via standard shortcut) --bjd

I will write a plugin that copies to/pastes from the clipboard.

I am not sure it is possible to paste from do easily. This requires some pretty gritty details on the X-server side of things. Copying text to and from the clipboard might be the best that is reasonably possible.

You can paste in the new enhanced text mode. This mode is not final, but we will continue to support paste.
