Status page/screen for index/loaded plugins

Google Desktop allows you to bring up a page showing you the status of the index. Whether it is still running, ETA and how many of each type of file is already indexed.
This would be nice for gnome do as well. To show how much of each type of item is indexed, if the index is finished or not, and possibly which plugins are loaded and any error messages associated.

I would love to see this done as a plugin. This however presents serious technical issues as getting that kind of data from Do in a plugin is not easy. Do maintains a very strict separation of its core from its plugins and rarely allows plugins to get information from the core. This may have to become a core plugin if it is to become reality.
