Bar code in J2ME Tracker

Registered by Paul Mark Castillo

Use Case: On the data entry form, the user should "focus" on the textbox they want to enter from the barcode. Then from the menu options, the user would select "Scan Barcode". And upon pressing it, it would go in a "Camera Viewfinder", the user have an option to "Capture" or "Cancel". Selecting "Cancel", would just go back to the "Data Entry" form. Selecting "Capture", would capture the image for analyzation. If it is not successful, it would show an error message "Image not recognized" and would go back to the "Camera View Finder". If it is successful, it would go back to the "Data Entry" form, and input the recognized numbers on the current textbox.

Technical Implementation: I'm thinking what if let's use QR Codes rather than Barcode. Because QR codes are much easier and faster to ready. Specially on phones that have very low camera quality. We would be using a 3rd Party API (not yet totally researched) for this. Not yet made a feasibility study or a prototype if this is actually feasible.
