Hook Point API
Registered by
Eric Larson
The Hook Point API allows injecting organization specific code into Designate by defining hook points as decorators. Hook points are installed using package entry points and allow configuration using oslo.config. The goal of a hook point is to allow organizations a means of injecting specific code while limiting the reach and potential for adding bugs in the organization's designate deployment. The other goal of the Hook Points API is to help users avoid the need to maintain a fork of the code by providing a supported means of adding organization specific code.
