Allow several configurations to be processed

it can be desirable to have different backup-configurations that are all processed.
usage example:
i want to have a backup of my music collection on a local device, but it's too large to store it on a remote machine, encryption wouldn't be necessary at all and slow down the process.
but i'd like to have my very important documents backed up locally and on different remote machines, where i may want to use different encryption keys to give my lawyer access to one of them in case of death or imprisonment.
