Cinder volume driver for X-IO ISE storage products
Overview:
Add cinder volume driver for X-IO ISE storage products. The driver will support both FC and iSCSI protocols. It communicates with the ISE storage unit using REST.
Features:
The driver supports the following APIs:
- Volume Create/Delete
- Volume Attach/Detach
- Snapshot Create/Delete
- Create Volume from Snapshot
- Get Volume Stats
- Copy Image to Volume
- Copy Volume to Image
- Clone Volume
- Extend Volume
Implementation:
The driver can be configured using the following parameters:
san_ip - IP to REST management interface
san_login - user name for REST management
san_password - password for user
ise_raid_level - RAID level for volumes
ise_storage_pool - storage pool to use for volume creation
iscsi_ip_address - IP address to a target port on ISE
