Add support for VVOL datastores in the VMDK driver
Registered by

The VMDK driver stores volumes (virtual disks) in vCenter managed datastores. Currently the VMDK driver supports VSAN, VMFS and NFS datastores. vSphere 6.0 release supports a new type of datastore called VVOL datastore.
The changes in the VMDK driver to support VVOL datastores are very minimal.
Changes:
* Add VVOL datastore in the list of supported datastore types
* Skip VVOL datastore for copying prealocated images since VVOL doesn't support preallocated images
