NetApp ONTAP: min throughput QoS policy
NetApp ONTAP back end provides quality of service (QoS) to guarantee that performance of critical workloads is not degraded by competing workloads. ONTAP supports setting max (ceiling) throughput values to limit its impact on system resources, and min (floor) values to ensure that it meets minimum througput targets, regardless of demand by competing workloads. Currently, the ONTAP Cinder driver only supports the max throughput policy. This blueprint is to add support to the min throughput QoS policy, to allow either setting only the min throughput, or setting both max and min for the same workload.
