Support single dimension decomposition for "standard" metrics

Synaps indexes on the entire set of dimensions associated with a metric.
However standard metrics (the analogue of the AWS/EC2 namespace) need to be capable of being queried per-dimension (e.g. InstanceId or ImageId for instance metrics).
