Collection of Applications Metrics from instances
Enable custom metrics/stats push to Ceilometer from within an VM.
The idea here is to have daemon (a new pollster) deployed inside one or more VMs to POST metrics to Ceilometer API and so allow instances autoscaling rules driven by system/
The metrics collection is delegated to a specialised tools (i.e Ganglia)
The daemon will poll collected metrics from the specialised tools and POST a subset of them to Ceilometer. btw, possibily use transformers to compute complex metrics.
The metrics pushed to Ceilometer will must be tagged with resource_id equals to stack_id when VMs are deployed through Heat.

yuntongjin - anything blocks this ?
scroiset - nothing, I just removed my self as Assignee. The blueprint remains valid IMHO but I've not the time to implement it. So I guess it requires a new Assignee if somebody is interested.
