Couchbase backend for storing

Currently, ceilometer supports 5 kinds of backends(from http://docs.openstack.org/developer/ceilometer/install/dbreco.html) but couchbase. The Couchbase is one of the fastest NoSQL solutions which supports JSON and incremental map reduce for real-time analytics. These features are looking good for ceilometer, so decide to implements the Couchbase backends for ceilometer storage.

just an fyi, there is a plan to move ceilometer backend to a time series focused db. see stackforge/gnoochi... is this couchdb proposal only to capture events? or samples as well? -- gordc(9/9/2014)
