Tidy up the menu
Excellent menu, succeeds where everyone else has failed, imho!
But som options would make the entire experience a little bit better:
1) Remove 'All' menu item (or make an option to hide it)
2) Default to showing pinned (or make an option to do so)
Also, an option to open a menu directory when hovering over it with the mouse.

Thanks for the blueprint. I will give it a longer look later this week, but for now I thought you'd be interested in some blueprints that contain similarities to yours (mainly because they also discuss reorganizing the menus at some points):

It would be nice if whatever solution we come up with is able to encompass all of these ideas.
Also note that I am highly zealous of Cardapio's current structure and any change, if it happens at all, will only take place after *much* discussion and evaluation.

No re-arrange is actually needed, in my opinion, just the possibility to hide/show some of the default items (All, Pinned,. Places)

I’m wondering about the use cases for removing the »All« category, since it is the essence of Cardapio. The same goes for »Places«.
»Default to showing pinned« is already implemented in that pinned applications are shown first by default.
The reasons for why it is not a good idea to have menu directories open on mouse-over are described at https:/
