“Reinstall from sync”
“Reinstall from sync”
Implementation
Move the “Wireless” step before the “Preparing to install Ubuntu” step (because you need to be connected to the Internet before you can even sign in).
Rename the “Wireless” step to “Connect to the Internet”, and add the extra intro text that should appear if you have chosen “Reinstall From Sync”. (You don’t need to implement the other changes to this step.)
Make the installer go back to the “Welcome” step if you chose “Reinstall From Sync” and then didn’t connect to the Internet.
Implement the sign-in step.
Implement the check to see whether the account you’ve signed into has at least one useful synced profile.
Implement the “Choose profile” step.
Implement the installation of the synced package inventory. (The hardest part!)
If you chose “Reinstall From Sync…”, but you did not connect to the Internet, the installer should return to the “Welcome” step.
