Inhibit suspend too?
When a computer is caffeinated, it would be nice if it refused to go into suspend as well. This would be much nicer to use than the current Inhibit Applet.

It is definitely important for Caffeine to do this, if it isn't already. Unfortunately, I thought that it was already inhibiting suspend, at least for Gnome and KDE, so I'm not exactly sure what's happening in this situation. I'd like to ask you a few questions about your setup.
What Linux distro are you using? (version number as well, please)
What desktop are you using? (Gnome, XFCE, etc...)
Can you think of any other relevant information that might help me figure this out?
Thanks for your help!
Update (pragmattica, Nov. 17, 2009): From an e-mail, this was occurring with Ubuntu Karmic on a Lenovo T500 laptop, stock Ubuntu Gnome. The inhibit applet was also not preventing suspend. I have experimented with this, and was unable to reproduce it on my own laptop. Since the inhibit applet also wasn't working, I'm going to suggest that this probably isn't an issue with Caffeine specifically, and close the issue for now. However, if any new information comes up that could allow us to do something in Caffeine to make this work, feel free to re-open it at any time.
