Option in bzr add to add to repository target of a symlink instead of symlink

I have some symlinks in my tree pointing to necessary resources (files and dirs) lying outside the tree. I want those symlinks to be treated as if they were regular files and dirs with content they are pointing to. I want them to be treated as if they were hardlinks (I'd use hardlinks but on linux I can't make hardlink to a dir).
