Bug Description

No text and no album art is shown in the Google Music service. I can (sort of) move around the user interface, but the main content area is completely blank. See the attached screenshot.

This is using version 1.0, though I encountered the same issue in the version from the unstable ppa. I'm on Ubuntu 12.04 beta 1.

* 1.1~bzr337 unstable - bug is irreproducible

This makes pretty sense. Ubuntu Precise Beta 1 has brought new (beta) libraries related to GNOME 3.4 Beta release. Nuvola Player 1.0.2 was build with old libraries, both unstable builds with new ones and should be compatible.

Does the Google Play really work with plugins disabled? I thought it requires Flash plugin for playback.

And does it play?

Mauricio Farell Perezgrovas (mfarell) wrote :

Yes, it works perfectly. Funny thing is that when option "Enable Netscape Plugins" is ticked it behaves pretty much the same as Nuvola and when trying to play anything clicking in the blank spaces where albums should be it displays an error. This fix is not yet suitable for stable release, because I have to ensure the fix

a) is applied only for Google Play
b) works also in older versions of Ubuntu
c) works also in Fedora
