Bug Description

emacs -Q, GNU Emacs 23.2.1 (i586-suse-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.22.1)
and later one:

M-x py-help-at-point, output starts like this:

## working on region in file /usr/tmp/Python3953Qgh.py...
Python 2.7 (r27:82500, Aug 07 2010, 16:54:59) [GCC] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> WARNING: terminal is not fully functional
- (press RETURN)

;;;;;;;;;;;;

in the following nasty line-counts are printed:

lines 1-23
expression-less except clause, if present, must be last; it matches
lines 2-24

A similar bug occurs in python-shell, when help('SOME_COMMAND') is called.

Also installing a filter seems an option.
