Bug Description

In the search entry field in the Unity dashboards (Applications, Files, and the one triggered by the Ubuntu logo whose name I do not know), using Ctrl-A (to select the entry, presumably to correct it) or Ctrl-U (to erase it) instead inserts (and displays) the graphic characters for 0x0001 and 0x0015.

Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C (bug #737732), Ctrl+V (bug #736222), Ctrl+X have been fixed now, they all work. Other Ctrl chars still display the rectangles.
