Can you try running it from the command line and tell us what it says?

I'm wondering if this is the same bug as http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=387768

I see the same problem; it did work at first - platform is Ubuntu Edgy. I have removed from the system & re-installed but to no effect.

It seems to be still working correctly on another system I have that is running Ubuntu Breezy. Presumably a difference in one of the libraries?

I have this same behavior under edgy after having successfully used the program under dapper. I have attached a problem report.

I just got an email from the developer stating that there is a new release of Stopmotion that apparently addresses this bug. As of this writing, the new release has not made its way into the official repository. I did try to install the .deb package from the developer's site, but it said I had a dependency problem with libqt4-core (even though I have that installed), so I'm apparently stuck waiting for the Ubuntu official version.

But at least there's hope.
