Bug Description

Add article about "Stable Release Updates". Good resource is obviously https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates - would be good to at least mention other possibilities (backports, etc.)

Also would it be great to point out what to best do if a bug needs different kinds of fixing in different releases. How sometimes different debdiffs/branches are necessary and sometimes one just might be enough (and resulting packages can be copied over).

In addition to that what best practices are if there's multiple bugs fixed in one SRU or one security upload.

I have added https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide/Recipes/PackageSecurityUpdate which should cover the security update portion of this bug. I don't want to close it yet though, since I am not planning on doing the SRU portion.
