Bug Description
Henrik has proposed that if we add complete support for the MS MT protocol, we'll stop seeing some of the irregularities we've started seeing in hardware from vendors that are supporting the MS protocol.

A solution to this has been found, and so far one of the affected drivers, the 3m-pct, has been accepted upstream and has been merged in maverick. Additional drivers known to be affected so far is the hid-egalax, the list may grow over time.
