Live session user doesn't always get auto-login support

Bug Description

I have been distributing Ubuntu CDs around my school, and some people have reported that when they launch the Live Session in Ubuntu 10.04; the desktop appears and suddenly exits and they are prompted for a password for the 'ubuntu' user.

Not a casper issue and can't find any occurrence of that bug on 12.04/12.10, so closing it.
