Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

I am running amaroK from the KUbuntu amarok-latest repository. I ran an update recently, and now I find that amarok tells me that it cannot talk to klauncher (or something to that effect). I have to manually run kdeinit before amarok works properly. I am not sure whether the cause is amaroK, or the KDE system, so I put amaroK. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.

I would think this is a side effect of amarokapp being installed in /usr/lib/amarok/

Therefore, the fix should be the same as https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/amarok/+bug/16474 ?

I'll have to test that out.

This should be fixed in edgy.

Please reopen this bug if you have a problem with it again :)
