Bug Description
Inkscape 0.46-2 for Mac
Mac OSX v. 10.5.6 (9G55)
XQuartz 2.3.2
Xorg-server 1.4.2-apple 31
International panel on system preferences configured for:
(in order)
1 - Brazilian Portuguese
2 - Portuguese
3 - Portuguese (Portugal)
4 - English
Keyboard Layout: customized US International (with latin abcents...)
I've noticed that brazilian localization of Inkscape don't launch.
When I lauch the app, she launch the default US localization....
I can launch the pt_BR localization only via terminal:
cd /Applications/
export LANGUAGE="pt_BR"
./Inkscape
With this "tricks" I can lauch Inkscape with brazilian localization...but clicking on the app....nothing to do!
There is a Workaround for solving this problem? I really need for the brazilian localization in my company...
The program works but the console display always the same errors (both for the english or the brazilian localizations of the app):

Hello Argonaut, Inkscape should store this setting in your inkscape preferences file under the key "/ui/language" there should be the string "pt_BR" in your case. If you did not select any then there is no value for that key.
Whenever inksape finds a value it exports this as LANGAUGE for the current session.
