Asset Master Data Set-up

The error encountered was under Config --> Assets --> Assets.

I created the entry again in the Assets --> Draft Assets and I was able to 'Confirm' the asset.

Depreciation methods is one2many field which has required fields in 'Depreciation' tab.

As per you,
I created the entry again in the Assets --> Draft Assets and I was able to 'Confirm' the asset.

this is because draft assets does not have values for one2many field. so you can easily confirm it.
Try filling one of the values in this one2many field, you will get same 'Required field' Error.

But from a different perspective, how can a user tell that it's one2many field? Maybe, it would be great if the error message is in-synch with where it is pointing and what should be done next. Difficult to correct the 'red fields' when none is actually displayed in red.
