Bug Description

We have created our own TTF to draw symbols and fill patterns. When we output these as a PDF Acrobat Reader displays them correctly. To ensure that this works properly on any computer we recommend embedding the fonts in the PDF. In any case, they are not correctly displayed in Inkscape. The "thumbnail" in the Import Settings dialog looks OK.

Have attached a simple example

This is a know problem. The PDF importer doesn't load or converts to paths the fonts that come embedded. We know this is bad ;) A workaround is to set "convert text to path" when exporting the PDF.
