can't open URL in text viewed in the message indicator

Bug Description
I received a text with a URL in it. In the messaging app, it is blue and I am able to tap it to open the browser, but in viewing the same message in the message indicator I am not.

indicator-messages is the backend of the messaging menu. unity8 handles the UI.
