Meta Data Assignment, Searching and Display

Brutus should allow registered users to tag individual messages with limited text annotations that are appended to the search data for each message in the index. Annotations should appear as icons along the bottom of each message cell which when clicked instantiate an overlay containing the annotation body. URLs in annotations should be allowed; however HTML should not. Links will be automatically hyperlinked; image references will attempt to approximate display for an image (if size allows.)

Comma-separated lists of keyphrases will appear as grey text underneath the message instead of being relegated to a secondary display.
