Option to write zeros to sectors between MBR and first partition

Registered by Gabriel M.

Would it be possible to add an advanced option to wipe the extra space between the MBR and the first partition where stupid applications like to write? I had to manually write zeros on sectors 1 to 62 in order to stop getting warnings about sectors used by FlexNet when reinstalling grub.

The procedure is already well described at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1661254, but automating it would reduce the risk of messing up.

Of course you need a big heavy warning about the possibility of some windows apps using that DRM or some HP system tools not working afterwards. You'd also need to check for any non-standard partition configuration.
