Activate the tracking mode
When the track has started, Bluemapia stores in a .GPX file the points. Available track settings are Period and Distance. A point is recorded if the time laps since the last recorded point is greater than Period AND if the distance from the last recorded point is greater than the Distance defined. In addition it is possible to set the system so that any placemark created during a track is associated to the track itself. A flag also indicates if the track line will be visible while the tracking is active. The combination of track and a set of placemarks provides the ability to build electronic log books because it can represent the trip with all of its pictures and descriptions taken along the trip. When the track is stopped, Bluemapia saves it in a .GPX file that can be opened with Google Earth and is compatible with many other GPS devices
