Crop video size in blacklight 3
Hi, is it possible to create a feature to crop the videosize with blacklight3? My idea is to crop video in the 16:9 format (or wider format), so that the black fields on the top and bottom dissappears. The drawback is that som of the left and right part of the video also will disappear.

Sorry I didn't reply to this sooner; Launchpad never informed me of this request. Naughty Launchpad!
I'll have a look into what this will entail; I know that some other programs can perform automated cropping but I'll have to have a look at their code and see if I can understand it. I'm afraid this might get put on the back burner... sorry. The Walkman can do its own zooming/cropping if you have a look at the settings (hit Option during video playback or the right-most icon on the touchscreen models).
As for more than 16:9, I don't believe this will be possible. You are stuck with a specific resolution for Walkman video; you can only get different resolutions if you use Windows Media Video 9 which can't be encoded on Linux yet.
