Fullscreen Mode

Registered by Victor Martinez

BeatBox should have the option to go fullscreen. It would listen to F11 key presses and have an explicit option in the appmenu (checkmenuitem).

It would also take up the entire screen space, without hiding anything else but the window decorations.

This will provide a better experience with podcasts, or any video content etc

I don't think this is necessary for beatbox. BeatBox offers video playing only as a convenience, not to be a video player. -Scott

Yes, I agree. Just to clarify, I'm not referring to a video-player-like fullscreen, but to an application fullscreen mode. This is, remove the metacity decorations and take up the entire screen space without changing anything inside the application (i.e. the sidebar, toolbar, and everything else will remain there). We can implement this very quickly by using http://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/3.2/GtkWindow.html#gtk-window-fullscreen
However, if you think it's not necessary, feel free to reject it :)

Ya, I don't think it is necessary. -Scott

I would like that. But only for videos (just like audience!). -- gotwig
